"An early autumn harvest in 2015 of his family’s 35-acre estate allowed Russell Gladhart to expand his reserve Pinot Gris program from the 2014 vintage, and he’s done a remarkable job with this release that blends some juice from neutral French oak barrels with stainless steel fermentation. It creates a theme of lemon bar and tutti frutti notes with bright, lively and long navel orange acidity. Outstanding, Great Northwest Wine, March 2017.
"Ripe and creamy, this reserve cuvée is 100% varietal. It mixes plump melon and peach fruit with supple acids. There is no indication of having gone through malolactic, but the finish brings a suggestion of ghee. Try putting this in the fridge for about 15 minutes before opening." 89 points. Paul Gregutt, Wine Enthusiast, December 2016.
Beautiful nose, offering up passionfruit and peach, with fresh and baked fruits on the palate and Meyer lemon lingering on the finish." Gold Medal. Palate Press 7th Annual Grand Tasting
